Millcreek Canyon is a moderately difficult climb of the Wasatch Front Range located less than ten kilometers from downtown Salt Lake City.

Millcreek is a favorite recreation area for locals that provides quick access to the the Wasatch. The steep south side of the canyon offers shade that keeps summer-time temperatures reasonable as compared to a more exposed pitch.

The surface is excellent but narrow. Becareful of motor vehicles as a SUV that pulled out in front of CSC rider David Zabiskie a few years ago nearly ended his professional bicycle riding career.

There are limited public services available, ie no water.
